CITES is an international agreement between governments, aimed to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals and plants does not threaten their survival. World Wildlife Day highlights importance of sustainable use of wildlife for people, planet and prosperity in “biodiversity super year 73rd meeting of the CITES.
